About Me
The Professional Stuff:
I am a psychologist licensed in the states of Texas and Florida. I offer individual attachment-based, psychodynamic psychotherapy and am honored to provide a safe, consistent space for you to engage in deep, meaningful work in the pursuit of more fulfilling relationships, as well as increased confidence, resilience, and self-awareness. I offer a warm, collaborative style focused on identifying and exploring patterns that keep you stuck, freeing you up to make lasting changes.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Reading in England and then my Doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Essex in England. This has been certified as equivalent to a PhD by the University of Texas in Austin. As part of my degree, I completed a specialist internship at the young adult department of the Tavistock Clinic in London, an internationally renowned center for psychodynamic training and therapy. During this training, I gained extensive experience of working psychodynamically and my work is steeped in this approach. I completed my postdoctoral experience at a non-profit counseling center in Richardson, Texas serving adults experiencing a range of difficulties. Since 2013, I have practiced privately and specialize in the treatment of anxiety, particularly with millennials.

The Other Stuff:
Outside of work, you'll mostly find me having adventures with my husband and two kids, competitively baking at the State Fair of Texas, and eagerly jumping into my latest hobby. I was born and raised in Dallas by two Brits, which explains a lot about me!!
